Topology optimization for enhanced dynamic fracture resistance of structures

چکیده

A topology optimization framework for improving the dynamic fracture resistance of structures is proposed. The phase field method combined with Solid Isotropic Material Penalization (SIMP) optimization. problem defined as minimizing energy during whole loading process, from initiation cracks to full failure structure, under volume and compliance constraints. Semi analytical expressions sensitivities in a context are provided solve efficiently. Numerical examples involving subjected impact investigated.
